The latest chapter of my Water Ring Series was inspired by a warm fall day floating down the Vermillion River.  All of the trees were bare except for the oaks.  As the wind would push through the branches it seemed as if the trees were talking all the while mirroring beautiful lines on the surface of the water.

The Water Ring Series has been the focus of my work and began nearly twelve years ago.   These paintings are based on my thoughts of the importance of water to life on this planet and more recently the ripple effect...how one small thing can change everything else around it.
